Meet Our Doctors

Dawn Lozano Martin, DMD, MS

I made the decision to become an orthodontist because I experienced the many benefits of orthodontic treatment firsthand. An attractive smile can do more than make you look good; it can improve your dental health and your relationships, both personal and professional.

By offering proven orthodontic advances I can help my patients achieve straight, confident smiles in less time and with fewer office visits than ever before. Our patients really seem to appreciate our high level of innovative treatment plus the friendly, focused care that goes with it. Plus, as a mother of three children, I know as much about kids as I do children’s orthodontics. I enjoy interacting with patients of all ages and making their visits as fun as possible.

When I’m not improving smiles, I spend time with my husband, Will, and our three children, Macey, Delaney, and Bryce. I also volunteer regularly at their schools. In addition, I like to read, travel and meet new people. I am also an avid fan of Florida Gator sports.

Page Jacobson, DDS, MS

After graduating from dental school and practicing general dentistry for six years, I decided to return to graduate school and become an orthodontist. I wanted to help patients of all ages achieve a beautiful smile, a better self-image and greater self-confidence in their lives. Since establishing myself as one of Gainesville’s first orthodontists in 1975, I have made a commitment to provide patients with the highest quality of care possible. In 1976 I became a faculty member in the University of Florida College of Dentistry’s Orthodontic Department and today I still assist in the training of orthodontic residents. I believe in using only the highest quality and most effective orthodontic solutions in the treatment of patients.

I really enjoy getting to know our patients during the course of their treatment and I always want to make their visits a fun and positive experience. One of my greatest pleasures after being in practice for 36 years is to meet former patients who thank me for their beautiful smiles and bring their children to our office for their orthodontic care.

In addition to my career in orthodontics, I am a huge fan of the military and served my country for 21 years in the United States Navy. I retired in 1984 as a Captain in the Navy Dental Corps.

Meet Our Staff

Office Manager

I have worked with Drs. Martin and Jacobson for 25 years and I look forward to learning something new from our patients each day. Every person I meet is such a unique individual with an interesting story to tell. It is very rewarding to know that I am helping our doctors create confident, healthy smiles and enhancing the lives of our patients. Oddly enough, I also love to file insurance! Everyone here at Progressive Orthodontic Associates is dedicated to making your orthodontic treatment a wonderful experience.

I have been married for 8 years to my husband, Michael. We have two lovely children, Brittani and Brian, two dogs, one cat, and too many fish to count. I am a passionate reader, love the game of baseball, and spending time near the water with my family.

Dana Bryan is the senior scheduling coordinator of 10+ years at Progressive Orthodontics.
While a problem solver at work, Dana is a wife outside office doors of husband Richard
Bryan. Dana also loves animals as she has 3 pets of her own. Dana's hobbies include,
but are not limited to the beach life, tanning at the river and shopping.

Certified Orthodontic Assistant

Getting to know our patients and helping them achieve all their orthodontic goals is the best part of working in this office. I love getting to know our patients, learning about their interests, and seeing their beautiful smile when it is revealed at the end of their treatment. Each smile is such a unique gift! We are all dedicated to making sure our patients’ treatment is as comfortable as possible so we are always open to new technology and products to make your experience the best!

I grew up in Lake Butter where I learned how to turn on my southern charm. When I’m not in the office I like spending time with my family and friends, cooking, traveling, and hanging out at the beach. I played tennis for all four years of high school and still enjoy playing when I get the chance.

Certified Orthodontic Assistant

I assist Drs. Martin and Jacobson with all aspects of patient care and educate our patients about their treatment plan and progress. I like to motivate patients to keep up good hygiene at home so their smiles will be as beautiful as possible when their braces are removed. It is wonderful to build relationships with our patients and parents while giving them an amazing smile that will last a lifetime.

I am happily married with two children. When I’m not in the office I enjoy relaxing on the beach, boating, shopping, and spending time with my family.

I am a Mother of 4 Beautiful children, and I love to read on my kindle while sipping coffee lol!

Treatment Coordinator/Certified Orthodontic Assistant

Being an orthodontic assistant and treatment coordinator enables me to do what I love best- getting to know our patients and helping them obtain a confident, healthy smile. The connections I’ve made with our patients are priceless. Seeing a patient grow from nervous about their appointments to looking forward to them is so rewarding. We are a happy, fun office where our team encourages our patients’ success.

My husband, Victor, and I have three daughters, one son, and a house full of animals including three mini-donkeys which keeps us all busy. In my free time I love being outdoors, especially on the river.
